Be a public or private organisation with legal personality
Be established in one of the 27 EU Member States or non-EU countries, on the date of the publication of the call, part of the Creative Europe Programme
Be established at least one year before the application submission date
Have a demonstrable track-record of working in the sector that is relevant in the context of their proposal
The application must be submitted in English. Please note that the linguistic quality of your application is not evaluated, so feel free to use a translation tool if needed.

Please refer to the LIVEMX First Open Call for Projects Guidelines to understand the three topics and the challenges that must be addressed by the project proposal. Additionally, the eligibility criteria of the applicant must be considered as it must be a public or private organisation with a legal personality.
If referring to funding directly to an individual artists/musician/band, this will not be supported. Please refer to other EU-Programmes that may cover these activities.
Mono-beneficiary refers to a situation where the funding provided by LIVEMX is intended for a single beneficiary or recipient organization. In this context, the term “mono beneficiary” emphasizes that the project should have only one main recipient who will be responsible for signing the contract, implementing and managing the entire project.
However, projects are expected to have a European-added value which can involve participation and collaboration with supporting entities.
If you run your own business without a separate legal personality (e.g. sole trader, self‐employed etc.), you are an eligible applicant. Please note that you must provide business data and attach copies of official supporting documents. Additionally, it must have been established for at least one year before the application submission date.
If the organisation meets the applicant eligibility criteria, it must then consider its project proposals scope to ensure it is aligned with the three LIVEMX topics and challenges that it aims to address.
A project’s key results/outputs must occur within the specified timeframe of 10, 11, or 12 months. LIVEMX will announce three Open Calls for Projects, and the applicant should apply to one of the options with activities designed to fit that timeframe.

The no-profit rule in the context of a LIVEMX means that the funds provided by the grant should not result in a profit for the entity receiving the grant. The entirety of the grant amount is expected to be utilized for the execution and implementation of the selected project.
However, if the project needs to support further expenses than the ones described in LIVEMX call for proposals, the applicant can manage to get further income (for example selling ticket, for an event related to the project) that must also be reinvested into the project.
This means that the funds generated through ticket sales are considered part of the project’s budget and should be used to cover project-related expenses.
It’s important for applicants to clearly outline in the application form how any profits from ticket sales will be directed back into the project’s implementation.
No. Project Beneficiaries will be welcomed and encouraged to continue their project after LIVEMX´s timeframe and open to explore other funding opportunities. These ambitions can be further detailed in the Impact Criteria section.
