Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable since May 25, 2018, establishes the rules applicable to the processing of personal data by companies and public entities with a view to guaranteeing the defense of rights and fundamental freedoms of natural persons and, in particular, the protection of their personal data.

Personal data is all personal information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, the data subject.

what is meant by “treatment”?

Processing is the operation or set of operations carried out on personal data or on sets of personal data, by automated or non-automated means, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, conservation, adaptation or alteration, recovery , consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, broadcast or any other form of availability, comparison or interconnection, limitation, erasure or destruction. 
The LIVEMX website is implementing the technical and organizational measures necessary to comply with the GDPR in order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, security and accuracy of the personal data transmitted to it. 

in what situations is data processing carried out?

In order to carry out its activity, LIVEMX processes personal data, as set out in the GDPR, when this is necessary for: 
the execution of contracts to which it is a party, 
the fulfillment of legal obligations to which it is bound, 
the exercise of functions of public interest, 
the pursuit of a legitimate interest that does not override the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the holder that require the protection of personal data. 
Outside of the cases indicated above, LIVEMX will ask you for your consent to the processing of your personal data.

how are personal data processed?

The processing of personal data by LIVEMX follows the principles of transparency and loyalty towards the data subject. 
Personal data is collected for specific purposes, which will be determined, explicit and legitimate, communicated to the holder, and cannot be used for purposes incompatible with those for which its collection was authorized. 
Only personal data will be requested that, depending on the purposes of the processing, are adequate and relevant. 
Personal data is accurate and updated whenever necessary, with appropriate measures being adopted to ensure that inaccurate data, taking into account the purposes for which it is processed, is erased or rectified as quickly as possible. 
Personal data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill its intended purpose. 

LIVEMX will adopt technical and organizational measures designed to guarantee the security of personal data and prevent accidental loss, destruction or damage as well as illicit or unauthorized processing.

Whenever the collection and processing of personal data is based on the holder’s consent, he or she may, at any time, revoke his or her consent. 
To do this, simply inform LIVEMX of the withdrawal of consent, by means of a communication addressed to the Data Protection Officer, by email to the address or letter sent by simple post. 

rights of the data subject

The data subject has: 

  • Right to be informed about relevant aspects of the processing; 
  • Right of access to your data; 
  • Right to rectification of your data; 
  • Right to limit the processing of your data; 
  • Right to delete/delete data; 
  • Right to data portability (when technically possible); 
  • Right to object to treatment. 

To exercise these rights, the data subject will only have to request it by means of a communication addressed to the Data Protection Officer, by email to the address general@livemx.eu or letter sent by simple post. 
By making your personal data available to LIVEMX, the holder acknowledges and accepts that their processing is carried out in accordance with the provisions of this document “Privacy Policy and Processing of Personal Data”.

The Data Protection Officer has, among others, the function of ensuring relations between LIVEMX and the holders of personal data in matters covered by the GDPR and related legislation. The Data Protection Officer at LIVEMX will provide any clarifications requested regarding the protection of personal data, will receive requests regarding the exercise of data subjects’ rights and also complaints presented in this context.

national data protection commission

The National Data Protection Commission is responsible for monitoring the application of the GDPR in order to defend the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons regarding processing and facilitate the free movement of data within the European Union. 
Data subjects may submit any complaints regarding our privacy policy and processing of personal data at LIVEMX to the National Data Protection Commission.
